Shogun Seppuku

What originally started out as a water pipe instrument ended up being a little less ambitious but detailed than expected (You can see the rough sketch in the animation below). The character reminds me a bit of the Elite Praetorian Guards from the recent Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This was a fun drawing, I’m going to be using this platform more in an attempt to detach myself from the Instagram ‘Social Media’ platform. I’m not a big fan of the non-chronological feed and general restrictions (Alongside the data mining from the over-zealous Facebook)

I’ve got some plans for 2018 which I’ll start detailing here, there may be a solo-exhibition based on some plans I had from 2017.

Self-depre-cake-tion

I've been using the Apple Pencil, iPad Pro and drawing app Procreate over the last week and have been accustomed to the fluid style and ability to manipulate the medium. I'm able to produce works in a far more accurate and efficient manner which were once seen as drawbacks on my approach of digital mediums (I didn't like the off reference of Wacom tablets and finger painting is not my style)

The below image is an idea that I thought of 3 days ago and drew during my commutes to and from the office. I'll admit I did rush the text and candles on the cake, but the ability to perfect particular portions of the cake was really sweet.
